1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of ScriptFaster (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

ScriptFaster generates long-form YouTube video scripts from a topic you provide, using artificial intelligence, along with related materials such as titles and thumbnail text. Generated content is produced by automated systems and is provided for your use as described in these Terms.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

The Service is offered on monthly subscription plans, each with a fixed monthly price and a monthly limit on the number of scripts you may generate. Subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Prices and plan limits may change, and we will give notice before any change takes effect.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or harmful; not to attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; and not to resell or share access to your account.

6. AI-Generated Content

Scripts and related materials are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies, errors, or content that resembles other works. As between you and ScriptFaster, you own the content you generate and may use it for any lawful purpose, including commercial use.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, fact-checking, and editing generated content before publishing it, and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and the rights of third parties — including copyright and trademark rights in any characters, works, or source material your scripts reference. ScriptFaster does not guarantee that generated content is accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — is owned by ScriptFaster and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it as intended.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptFaster will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScriptFaster operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
