This Privacy Policy explains what information ScriptFaster (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of ScriptFaster (the “Service”).

2. Information We Collect

• Account information— your email address, and your name and profile image if you sign in with Google.
• Authentication data— we support sign-in with Google, email magic links, and email and password. Passwords, if used, are stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text.
• Content you create— the topics you submit, your channel settings, and the scripts and related materials generated for you.
• Billing information— your subscription status and plan. Payment-card details are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data— basic technical data such as log and device information generated when you use the Service.

3. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and operate the Service, generate scripts, manage your subscription and billing, authenticate you, communicate with you about your account, and maintain the security and reliability of the Service. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate ScriptFaster, including providers for payment processing, application and database hosting, email delivery, authentication, and AI text generation. They process your information only as needed to perform their functions for us, and under their own privacy and security terms. We do not sell your personal information.

In particular, the topics and prompts you submit are processed by a third-party AI provider, which uses web search, to research and generate your scripts.

5. Cookies and Sessions

We use cookies strictly to keep you signed in and to operate core functionality. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and generated scripts for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual scripts at any time. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records, such as billing records, to comply with legal obligations.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You can access and update your account information, delete your scripts, and cancel your subscription at any time. To request deletion of your account, contact us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data; contact us to exercise them.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children, and you must be 18 or older to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
